2. Day: Bozen - Trient (approx. 65 km)

We follow the Etsch till Rovereto and Mori. From here we cycle further westwards to Lake Garda. After a short incline we enjoy a refreshing descent and reach Riva by Lake Garda. Boat ride to the southern tip of the lake and accommodation in Peschiera or Desenzano.
4. Day: South Lake Garda -Verona (approx. 35/60 km)
Today we head towards the fascinating town of Verona. Not only is Verona the setting of the most notable opera festivals in the world and hometown of the star-crossed lovers in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, but it also is ranks as one of the most beautiful cities of Italy.
5. Day: Verona - Vicenza (approx. 40 - 75 km)
The route runs smoothly at first until we cross the Monti Berici, a hilly region in the south of Vicenza with a marvellous view over the city (optional flat route to Vicenza is possible). In both cases we have to cover a distance of 75 km – it is also possible to cut the tour short to approx. 30/35 km with a brief train ride (to be organised on your own, fee approx. € 8,- per person, incl. bicycle).
6. Day: Vicenza - Padua (approx. 50 km)
Past many gorgeous mansions in Venetian style (e.g. Rotonda, Valmarana ai Nani) we reach Padua, one of the oldest cities of Italy.
7. Day: Padua - Venice mainland (approx. 40 km)
The tailwind, such a characteristic feature of Venice, facilitates our journey towards the sea. Accommodation in the mainland outside of Venice (very good bus- and train connections to the lagoon city).
8. Day: Venice mainland
Individual departure or extension of trip in the mainland of Venice.
