On this bicycle tour we are free to choose whether we want to realize the extensive wellness offers of our hotel or mount our bicycles to take up one of the following tour suggestions.

Itinerary

1. Day: Balatonfüred
Individual arrival and accommodation.
2. Day: Tihany and Balatonlelle (approx. 40 km)
Today we cycle to the approx. 12 km² big protected Tihany Peninsula with is Benedictine abbey-church as its landmark. By ferry we cross over to Szántód and cycle via Balatonföldvár to Balatonlelle. Here a beautifully extended beach invites us to take a break before we cycle back to Balatonföldvár and head to Balatonfüred on board of a ship.
3. Day: Badacsony Vineyard (approx. 50 km)
Today’s goal is the Badacsony, the biggest vineyard by the lake, which we reach on the well developed cycle path along the northern bank. Here we will meet numerous bars with view of the lake. Return journey to Balatonfüred by train, to be organised on your own (approx. € 3,--/person, incl. bicycle).
4. Day: Veszprém (approx. 64 km)
Bicycle trip to Veszprém, one of the oldest cities of Hungary and former bishop’s see.
5. Day: Balatonfüred
Let’s enjoy a day of wellness at the hotel.
6. Day: Siófok (approx. 50 km)
Today we cycle along the northern and eastern bank to Balatonvilagos. Here we can enjoy a unique panoramic view of the entire length of Lake Plattensee. On we go directly along the lake through exclusive residential areas to Siófok. Boat trip to Balatonfüred.
7. Day: Balaton-Oberland National Park (approx. 51 km)
Bicycle tour through the enchanting vineyard landscape to Pécsely. The protected Pécsely Basin of the same name houses botanically interesting moor meadows and is also famous as a historic wine-growing district. Afterwards we head via Vászoly and Dörgicse back to Balatonfüred.
8. Day: Baltonfüred
Individual departure or extension of trip.
