2. Day: Burghausen – Schärding (approx. 68 km)

Past the Inn-Salzach-lookout point we ride to Braunau and further along the Inn to the 1000 year old city of Obernberg. Via Reichersberg Monastery we reach Schärding.

3. Day: Schärding – Schlögen (approx. 59 km)

At first the route leads us into „the city of three rivers“ (Passau), then further along the Danube and all the way to the renown loop of Schlögen.

4. Day: Schlögen – Linz (approx. 54 km)

The coloured Danube market town of Aschach, Wilhering Monastery and Ottensheim point us the way to Linz.

5. Day: Linz – Ardagger/Grein (approx. 65 km)

Via Mauthausen or Enns, the oldest town of Austria, we arrive at Ardagger/Grein via lake Wallsee, which incidentally marks the beginning of the Strudengau.

6. Day: Ardagger/Grein – Melk/Emmersdorf (approx. 55 km)

The pilgrimage church of Maria Taferl greets us from high above and shows us the way to Melk/Emmersdorf, where we can pay a visit to the famous Benedictine Abbey.

Today we cycle through the gorgeous Wachau. The goal of our journey by bike is Krems. The bicycle hand over (if bicycles booked) takes place in our partner hotel. We have to ask you to organize the train ride to Vienna by yourself (good connections).

8. Day: Wien

Individual departure or extension of trip.
