1. Day: Lübeck

Individual arrival and accommodation.

2. Day: Lübeck - Wismar (approx. 59 - 79 km)

We leave the city and cycle to Travemünde, which is also called „Lübeck’s fairest daughter“. Alternatively, we may also cover this part by train (to be organised on our own). By ferry, we then reach the Priwall peninsula and cycle through the Klützer Winkel to the Baltic Sea resort of Bolenhagen and farther to Wismar, one of the most beautiful Hanseatic cities of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

3. Day: Wismar - Kühlungsborn/surrounding area (approx. 42 km)

We should absolutely pay a visit to the old town of Wismar, before cycling in northern direction past Poel Island, which offers a view of the Salzhaff, to Rerik. On we go then in the direction of Kühlungsborn/surrounding area.

4. Day: Kühlungsborn/surrounding area - Warnemünde/Rostock (approx. 25 - 35 km)

Today we cycle along the coast to Warnemünde/Rostock. Who wants to can make a small detour to Bad Doberan on board of the museum train “Molli” and continue by bike to Warnemünde/Rostock (approx. 8 additional km).

5. Day: Warnemünde/Rostock - Fischland/Darß (approx. 35 - 55 km)

Let’s enjoy the numerous shops and fishing cutters before continuing our journey across the Rostock Heath to Graal-Müritz, the portal to the Fischland. The Fischland is bordered by a sandy beach, which stretches for miles, and Bodden, and we discover villages such as Dierhagen, Wustrow, Ahrenshoop, or Wieck. Accommodation either on the Fischland or on Darß.

6. Day: Fischland/Darß - Barth/surrounding area (approx. 40 - 50 km)

Today we head to the Baltic Sea resort of Prerow, where we stumble upon a snow white sandy beach nestled in a bay. Who wants to can reach Prerow via the “Darß Forest” as well. In any case, we should make a trip to the lighthouse on the Western beach, in order to explore one of the most beautiful Baltic Sea beaches of Germany. Our journey continues in the direction of Barth/surrounding area.

7. Day: Barth/surrouding area - Stralsund (approx. 46 km)

Today our bicycle stage takes us along the quiet and dreamy Bodden coast to Hohendorf, Klausdorf, and onwards into the old Hanseatic city of Stralsung. With a view of the coast of Rügen Island, we experience the maritime idyll of the seaport and the delicate motorboats. Furthermore, we should definitely try some tasty kipper before letting the evening come to a comfortable close.

8. Day: Stralsund

Individual departure or extension of trip.
