1. Day: Kaprun

Individual arrival and overnight-stay.
The hotel has its own spa with panoramic view, an indoor swimming pool and a whirlpool. The lavish sauna world and serene outdoor pool provide ample relaxation.
Tip: Golf enthusiasts will find a gorgeously sweeping golf course not far from Kaprun!

2. Day: Kaprun

(Tour around Lake Zeller, approx. 25 km)
We take a quick and easy tour of the crystal-clear Lake Zeller, which gives us plenty of time to go for swim in the cool water.

3. Day: Kaprun

(Excursion to the Krimmler Falls, train ride + approx. 57 km by bike).
We should not miss this unique possibility of visiting the biggest falls in all of Europe. The best way to reach Krimml is by taking the Pinzgauer Schmalspurbahn (narrow-gauge railway), since a trip to the Falls will take about 2-3 hours (train journey to be organised on your own account). After the walking-tour, we embark on our journey home by cycling along the splendidly constructed Tauern cycle path back to Kaprun. If desirable, the return journey may also be taken by train (again starting from Mittersill, to be organized on your own), in order to cut the cycle tour short.

4. Day: Kaprun – Bad Reichenhall/Bayerisch Gmain (approx. 55 and 68 km)

We are heading via Zell am See, Saalfelden and Lofer towards Bad Reichenhall/Bayerisch Gmain. Should you wish to, you may also shorten today’s stage to approx. 55 km by taking a brief train ride from Zell am See to Saalfelden (to be organized on your own account).

5. Day: Bad Reichenhall/Bayerisch Gmain – Salzburg (approx. 23 km)

Since we only have a short distance to cover today, we recommend a visit of Leopoldskron Palace as well as a brief detour to Hellbrunn Palace with its spectacular garden, trick fountains, and the neighbouring zoo.

6. Day: Salzburg

Today we take advantage of exploring the cosmopolitan city of Salzburg in more detail. There are many incredible sights waiting for us, such as the Residenz (the former residence of the Archbishops of Salzburg), the Glockenspiel (carillon), the cathedral, Mozart Square, St. Peter Abbey, Mirabell Palace, and Hohensalzburg Castle.

7. Day: Salzburg

Individual departure or extension of trip.
