1. Day: Krimml/Wald

One walking-tour to the falls takes about 2-3 hours (additional night Krimml/Wald commendable, prices see Prices/dates, reservation only in combination with the booking of your trip).

2. Day: Krimml/Wald - Piesendorf/Kaprun/Zell am See (approx. 57 km)

Via Rosental we ride to Neukirchen (Kammerlanderstall) and onward towards Habachtal, famous for its find spots of emeralds, to Bramberg (museum of local history). The local museum of Mittersill, the principal town of Oberpinzgau, is well worth paying a visit to as well. Via Uttendorf (national park-information-centre) and Niedernsill we arrive at Piesendorf, where the exhibition of the old Chinese town is well worth seeing. The European Sport Region Kaprun/Zell begins here at the foot of the lake with the glacial ski region surrounding the Kitzsteinhorn.

3. Day: Piesendorf/Kaprun/Zell am See - St. Johann/Bischofshofen (approx. 58 km)

We cycle past Bruck, which leads to the high alpine roads of Großglockner mountain, to Taxenbach and Lend, where the Gasteiner valley begins. We go on, however, past an impressive fall of the Gasteiner Ache, to St. Johann and Bischofshofen.

4. Day: St. Johann/Bischofshofen - Salzburg (approx. 57 km)

Past Hohenwerfen Castle we should make a detour to the awe-inspiring giant ice world (schedule approx.4 hours for your stay). Afterwards, we cyle along the mountain pass up a small incline to Pass Lueg, where we are invited to take a break at a nearby inn. After an exhilarating descent we reach Golling and Hallein. Time flies by as we enter the Festival city of Salzburg, where we may comfortably enjoy the remainder of the day.

5. Day: Salzburg - Burghausen (approx. 55 km)

Cycling along the banks of the Salzach we reach Oberndorf, the birthplace of the Christmas carol „Silent Night“, where a chapel serves as a reminder of the historic event. We follow the Salzach up to Ettenau and, via St. Radegund, to Burghausen (longest castle of Europe).

6. Day: Burghausen - Schärding (approx. 68 km)

Through Weilhart Forest we cycle to the Inn-Salzach-lookout point and up to the biggest city of the Innviertel – to Braunau. Partly following the river banks of the Inn and partly well-developped country roads, we reach the 1000 year old city of Obernberg and, shortly afterwards, Reichersberg Monastery. After this we head for the baroque city of Schärding.

7. Day: Schärding - Passau - Schärding (approx. 34 km)

On the day of departure we still have the opportunity to visit the once so eminent diocesan town of Passau. We cycle via Wernstein along the river Inn to Passau and - after exploring the city individually - back to Schärding. Should you no longer wish to bike on the last day, we can recommend journeying back via Passau in order to finish the tour with a sightseeing of the „city of three rivers“.
