1. Day: Stralsund

Individual arrival, tour information, and bicycle handover (if booked).

2. Day: Stralsund - Sellin/surrounding area (approx. 59 km)

On today’s bicycle route we cycle through avenues and villages and across the Rügen dam to the princely residence of Putbus. We can either cover the remaining 20 km by train by boarding the narrow-gauge railway “Rasender Roland” (“Rushing Roland”) - to be organised on your own-, or we cycle farther via Lauterbach and the Granitz to the famous seaside resorts of Binz and Sellin.

3. Day: Sellin/surrounding area - Sassnitz/surrounding area (approx. 37 km)

Today we follow the long stretch of the Baltic Coast past Granitz hunting lodge and the flint fields to Jasmund National Park. Let’s enjoy a marvellous view of the Jasmund Bodden (lake), before we arrive in Sassnitz, where we take a boat trip to the famous chalk cliffs (to be organised on your own), thus bringing this day to a perfect close.

4. Day: Sassnitz/surrounding area - Wittow peninsula (approx. 44 km)

We face the most mountainous part of Rügen today, which leads us to the Königsstuhl, a 117 m high chalk cliff. Through deciduous forests we cycle through the highlands of Jasmund National Park and can enjoy the beautiful vista over the steep coast and the Baltic Sea. Via the Schaabe (beach) we reach the Wittow peninsula. The chalk reef of Cape Arkona with its well-known lighthouse will certainly make an impression on us.

5. Day: Wittown peninsula - Stralsund (approx. 25 km)

By ferry we reach the enchanting island of Hiddensee. Small, airy and car-free – here, the cyclist is king! You can visit the local museum and the Gerhart Hauptmann Memorial, or we enjoy a sun bath on the white sandy beach. In the afternoon the ferry leaves for Stralsung.

6. Day: Stralsund - Darß (approx. 65 km)

Following the Bodden coast of Western Pomerania we arrive in Barth. We go farther across the dam into the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park, which will certainly pique our interest with its earthy woods and unique flora and fauna.

7. Day: Darß - Fischland/Ribnitz-Damgarten (approx. 40 km)

Via the old maritime and fishing village of Prerow we ride out to the lighthouse today situated on the Darß promontory, and farther through the Darß Forest to Ahrenshoop, the artists’ colony on the Fischland. Very soon we reach Wustrow, a seaside resort and former fishing village.

8. Day: Fischland/Ribnitz-Damgarten - Barth (approx. 38 km)

Today we are pulled in by the Amber Museum in Ribnitz-Damgarten and the open-air museum in Klockenhagen. In romantic seclusion we cycle farther through avenues and past old farm houses and smaller villages.

9. Day: Barth - Stralsund (approx. 44 km)

On our last day we cycle through a gently rolling hilly landscape and past old agricultural towns to Stralsund. You can pick up your luggage at 5 pm at the latest. Individual departure or extension of trip.
