This cycle tour leads us through Venetia, one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. Let yourself be enchanted as you discover history-laden cities and marvel at the fascinating scenery!

Itinerary

1. Day: Vicenza
Individual arrival and accommodation.
2. Day: Vicenza - Bassano del Grappa (approx. 40 km)
Today’s tour guides us via Sandrigo and Marostica, famous for its castle and giant chessboard on the main square, to Bassano del Grappa, the stronghold of the renowned Grappa.
3. Day: Bassano del Grappa - Treviso (approx. 60 km)
On our way to Asolo we have to brave a 1-km-long incline. Riding past splendid mansions and through an idyllic Prosecco-producing region we arrive at Treviso.
4. Day: Treviso - Venice mainland (approx. 40 km)
We leave Treviso behind us and follow the Sile River to Casale. Today’s goal is Venice with its labyrinthine alleyways and channels. Accommodation on the mainland outside of Venice (very good bus and train connections to the lagoon city).
5. Day: Venice mainland - Chioggia (approx. 35 km)
We cycle across the 4-km-long „Della Libertà” bridge towards the harbour of Tronchetto. We reach today’s destination of Chioggia by quasi hopping from island to island.
6. Day: Chioggia - Padua (approx. 60 km)
Via Strà, which is famous for its majestic Pisani mansion, we reach Padua. Here we are greeted by the impressive Saint Anthony basilica.
7. Day: Padua - Vicenza (approx. 50 km)
We cycle from Padua to Costozza at the foot of Monti Merici. Past the Valmarana ai Nani mansion with its unique Tiepolo frescoes we once again arrive at Vicenza.
8. Day: Vicenza
