1. Day: St. Michael im Lungau

Individual arrival and accommodation.

2. Day: St. Michael im Lungau - Murau (approx. 55 km)

Via Tamsweg we cycle into the medieval town of Murau today, with its marvellously designed town centre (beer museum, Obermurau Castle).

3. Day: Murau - Judenburg/surroundings (approx. 65 km)

Today’s stage leads us along the foot of the Lower Tauern past forests, meadows, palaces and castle ruins into the lovely corporate town of Judenburg.

4. Day: Judenburg/surroundings - Bruck a. d. Mur/Oberaich (approx. 60 km)

Through old industrial towns, which are distinguished by their neat historic centres and interesting museums, we journey via Leoben (Göss Monastery, Gösser brewery) to Bruck an der Mur/Oberaich.

5. Day: Bruck a.d. Mur/Oberaich - Graz (approx. 60 km)

From Frohnleiten, where we can visit Murland park and the “Tratschweiberbrunnen“(“gossiping women’s well”), we cycle through old orchards and along high rock faces into the capital of Styria, Graz. Apart from its historic monuments, such as the town’s landmark, the clock tower, Graz also offers a modern cultural life to its visitors.

6. Day: Graz - Mureck (approx. 65 km)

South of Graz sprawls the vast plain of Grazer Feld (Grazer Field), while we are invited to gaze at the one and only Roman town of Styria, which was excavated near Leibnitz. This city is also the site of the lovely Seggau Castle. If we want to make a detour to the wine route of Southern Styria, we will be heartily welcomed at the “Buschenschenken” (wine taverns).

7. Day: Mureck - Bad Radkersburg (approx. 25 km)

On our last bicycle stage we cross magnificent sunflower, corn and pumpkin fields. Lake Röcksee, a popular swimming lake, offers you relaxation before we arrive at Bad Radkersburg with its hot springs and historic town. Afterwards, individual departure or extension of trip (we recommend an extension in a category-1 hotel since the entrance to the spa is included).
