Provence by bike and boat

Provence & Camargue

France close enough to touch by boat & bike...

This bicycle tour leads us through the Camargue with its white horses and through the Provence with its lavender fields. We can decide for ourselves each day whether we want to cycle the tour by ourselves or in the company of our tour guide. Our ship accompanies us on our trip along the Rhone River and its branches.

Total length: approx. 295 bicycle kilometres

Our ship takes us to Saint-Gilles/surroundings and afterwards we continue by bike to Arles, the old capital of Gaul with the famous Roman ruins. On an exploratory tour we will also discover the Van Gogh bridge (often painted by Van Gogh).

On today’s bicycle tour we can enjoy a marvellous view of Les Baux (“city in the rock”); afterwards we arrive in Saint-Rémy (birthplace of Nostradamus).
