Star ride Wachau, 5 days
Wine terraces and apricot gardens…
On this star ride we can experience the Wachau from her most beautiful side while letting our soul bounce, and enjoy the fresh air of the Danube. We start our daily bicycle trips from our hotel in Krems and explore the Wachau little by little on even cycle paths.

1. Day: Krems
Individual arrival and accommodation.
2. Day: Trip to Melk Abbey (approx. 36 km)
In the morning we make a boat trip (incl. bicycles) to Melk, where we absolutely need to pay a visit to the world-famous Benedictine Melk Abbey (schedule at least a minimum of 2 hours for your visit)! Afterwards we cycle along the northern bank through the beautiful Wachau back to Krems.
3. Day: Hike through the Wachau
A backpack filled with food and drinks, provided by our hotel employees, will serve as our packed lunch today while we hike through the region around Krems (information about the hiking trails is provided directly at the hotel).
4. Day: Trip to Göttweig Abbey (approx. 20 km)
Today we leave the Danube and cycle in the direction of Göttweig. Impossible to overlook at this point is the Benedictine Abbey, which thrones on the eastern border of the Wachau-Danube Valley. The ascent to the Abbey is well worth it as we will be rewarded with a spectacular view at the top. The Abbey restaurant, too, invites us to stay before we head back to Krems on our bikes.
5. Day: Krems
